About

I own a photography business in Wiltshire, where I split my time between raising our young son, caring for the many rescue animals we share a home with, photographing and writing. I specialise in animal portraits, and also use my distinct style when photographing people. My other main strand of photography work fuses photographs with digital processes to create fine art images.

My personal projects use photography to help raise awareness of various causes, all of them concerning subjects close to my heart. Collections include series on veganism, British wildlife, and mental health awareness. My vegan portfolio has been exhibited in London and Beijing, and my mental health images were exhibited as part of the first Swindon Wellbeing and Arts Festival in February 2019.

Personal development is something on which I place high importance, and as well

as photography courses, I have undertaken training in pet first aid and animal

psychology, towards developing my skills in working with pets and their guardians.

I devote a proportion of my time to charity work, including working as a Trustee with Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind, and as a Trustee for Swindon Mentoring and Self Help, (SMASH).

If you'd like to purchase prints, my Etsy shop, which also stocks products such as tote bags and t-shirts, is hereTo find out more about my journey as a photographer, please visit my blog, "The Photographer's Way".

My portrait and business photography has a distinct and professional style. My calm demeanour and friendly approach puts subjects at ease while I work with them to create personal and professional pictures. One of my newborn images was chosen to display in the new Warwick Hospital maternity ward, and I have provided official photographs for a London theatre group. Other projects have included photographing a Warwickshire women's running club on a Calendar Girls style photoshoot for their charity calendar, and working with a fashion clothing model to build her portfolio.
